Why Green tea is must in daily life

Below are the advantages and why we should take green tea in our daily life.
Green tea why to take
  • Weight Loss. Green tea increases the metabolism. The poly phenol found in green tea works to intensify levels of fat oxidation and the rate at which your body turns food into calories.
  • Diabetes. Green tea apparently helps regulate glucose levels slowing the rise of blood sugar after eating. This can prevent high insulin spikes and resulting fat storage.
  • Heart Disease. Scientists think, green tea works on the lining of blood vessels, helping keep them stay relaxed and better able to withstand changes in blood pressure. It may also protect against the formation of clots, which are the primary cause of heart attacks.
  • Esophageal Cancer. It can reduce the risk of esophageal cancer, but it is also widely thought to kill cancer cells in general without damaging the healthy tissue around them.
  • Cholesterol. Green tea reduces bad cholesterol in the blood and improves the ratio of good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.
  • Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. It is said to delay the deterioration caused by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Studies carried out on mice showed that green tea protected brain cells from dying and restored damaged brain cells.
  • Tooth Decay. Studies suggests that the chemical antioxidant “catechin” in tea can destroy bacteria and viruses that cause throat infections, dental caries and other dental conditions
  • Blood Pressure. Regular consumption of green tea is thought to reduce the risk of high blood pressure.
  • Depression. Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea leaves. It is this substance that is thought to provide a relaxing and tranquilizing effect and be a great benefit to tea drinkers.
  • Anti-viral and Anti-bacterial. Tea catechins are strong antibacterial and antiviral agents which make them effective for treating everything from influenza to cancer. In some studies green tea has been shown to inhibit the spread of many diseases.
  • Skincare. Green tea can apparently also help with wrinkles and the signs of aging, This is because of their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Both animal and human studies have demonstrated that green tea applied topically can reduce sun damage.

Reasons For Not Getting Proper Sleep

One can live without food for few days. Even one can live without water for 2 or 3 days. But it is always difficult to imagine a life without sleep. Usually it is said that for active brain to function, for stress less life, for powerful memory, one need to have Proper sleep. It is a biological necessity as our immune system requires sleep to fight off disease and endure illness. One of the reasons for health conditions like Depression and Obesity is lack of proper sleep. Further Sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea also may lead to fatigue, irritability, forgetfulness, stress and high blood pressure. In short, Lack of sleep affects emotional and physical health. But generally there are certain difficulties one may face while sleep.

You get up several times to visit the Bathroom: An enlarged prostate gland can push against the bladder, urging frequent urination. If you're wide awake after a 2 am then bright bathroom lights make it harder to fall back asleep.

• You sleep more than 10 hours: Some people sleep for 4-5 hours in the day. One needs to sleep only 6-8 hours maximum. If you have slept earlier you might be wakeful that night. And may find difficulty in having deep sleep.

• Strong light in the Bedroom or next room may distract you from sleeping. The light and volume of the TV may also may give you trouble.

• Children and Pets make disturbances: Crying children is common problem most of the parents face. Let him cry it out a little. "Babies need to learn to go back to sleep on their own". Crying doesn't necessarily mean they're in pain. Leave baby for some time, they will automatically go to sleep naturally. Sometimes children may also cry if they are disturbed, unwell or have seen some scary dream. Some of the people have habit to sleep with dog, cat etc. these animal don’t need deep sleep rather they are light sleeper. Pets are also highly restless and may keep you awake at night.

• You had a heavy Dinner: Dinner should be a very light one. It is advisable not to sleep immediately after dinner. One may walk a little after dinner if possible. Indigestion also is a cause of restlessness.

• Midnight Parties at Neighborhood and Pet troubles: Music is playing on high on the neighborhood or the dog is howling outside making it difficult to sleep. Sometimes the quarrel of neighbors or the high volume of TV may also trouble you.

• Your Partner snores like a stock-car engine: Snoring occurs when people sleep on their backs. Here's why: Facial muscles relax, and the tongue slouches to the back of the throat, partially obstructing airflow.

• You are smoking cigarettes and consuming tea, coffee or alcahol as you ponder your sleeplessness. Smoking is harmful for deep sleep so, quit smoking. (First time you've heard that?) Not only is nicotine a stimulant, but smokers may also experience withdrawal at night, causing them to awaken or sleep fitfully. Consuming tea also keeps you awake for prolonged periods.

• Your partner or child has problems in sleeping: Generally high-school start times are out of teens' natural sleep rhythms. Student’s brain is programmed as per their future routine. So they have planning in their subconscious mind which is disturbing factor and some times as a result they talk while sleeping and keep disturbing us. Sometimes people talk in sleep which is highly disturbing in the night time.

• You eat some acidic medicines : Some Medicines can affect sleep patterns, and doctors don't always advise you of the risks. If you suffer from insomnia, grill your Doctor about your prescription's effects.

Sitting Posture in Office Environment

Over time, poor posture may be caused by habits from everyday activities such as sitting in office chairs, looking at the computer, driving, standing for long periods of time, or even sleeping. Poor posture can easily become second nature, causing or aggravating episodes of back pain and damaging spinal structures. Fortunately, the main factors affecting posture and ergonomics are completely within one’s ability to control and are not difficult to change.
The following guidelines suggest several ways to improve posture and ergonomics, especially for people who work sitting in an office chair for most of the day.

  • Know the warning signs of back pain caused by poor ergonomics and posture. Back pain may be the result of poor ergonomics and posture if the back pain is worse at certain times of day or week (such as after a long day of sitting in an office chair in front of a computer, but not during the weekends); pain that starts in the neck and moves downwards into the upper back, lower back and extremities; pain that goes away after switching positions while sitting or standing; sudden back pain that is experienced with a new job, a new office chair, or a new car; and/or back pain that comes and goes for months.
  • Get up and move. As muscles tire, slouching, slumping, and other poor postures become more likely; this in turn puts extra pressure on the neck and back. In order to maintain a relaxed yet supported posture, change positions frequently. One way is to take a break from sitting in an office chair every half hour for two minutes in order to stretch, stand, or walk.
  • Keep the body in alignment while sitting in an office chair and while standing. Distribute body weight evenly to the front, back, and sides of the feet while standing. While sitting in an office chair, take advantage of the chair’s features. Sit up straight and align the ears, shoulders, and hips in one vertical line. Any single position, even a good one, will be tiring. Leaning forward with a straight back can alternate with sitting back, using the back support of the office chair to ease the work of back muscles. Also be aware of and avoid unbalanced postures such as crossing legs unevenly while sitting, leaning to one side, hunching the shoulders forward or tilting the head.
  • Use posture-friendly props and ergonomic office chairs when sitting. Supportive ergonomic “props” can help to take the strain and load off of the spine. Ergonomic office chairs or chairs with an adjustable back support can be used at work. Footrests, portable lumbar back supports, or even a towel or small pillow can be used while sitting in an office chair and while driving. Using purses, bags, and backpacks that are designed to minimize back strain can also influence good posture. Proper corrective eyewear, positioning computer screens to your natural, resting eye position can also help to avoid leaning or straining the neck with the head tilted forward.
  • Increase awareness of posture and ergonomics in everyday settings. Being aware of posture and ergonomics at work, at home, and at play is a vital step towards instilling good posture and ergonomic techniques. This includes making conscious connections between episodes of back pain and specific situations where poor posture or ergonomics may be the root cause of the pain.
  • Use exercise to help prevent injury and promote good posture. Regular exercise such as walking, swimming, or bicycling will help the body stay aerobically conditioned, while specific strengthening exercises will help the muscles surrounding the back to stay strong. These benefits of exercise promote good posture, which will, in turn, further help to condition muscles and prevent injury. There are also specific exercises that will help maintain good posture. In particular, a balance of trunk strength with back muscles about 30% stronger than abdominal muscles is essential to help support the upper body and maintain good posture.
  • Wear supportive footwear when standing. Avoid regularly wearing high-heeled shoes, which can affect the body’s center of gravity and change the alignment of the entire body, negatively affecting back support and posture. When standing for long periods of time, placing a rubber mat on the floor can improve comfort.
  • Remember good posture and ergonomics when in motion. Walking, lifting heavy materials, holding a telephone, and typing are all moving activities that require attention to ergonomics and posture. It is important to maintain good posture even while moving to avoid injury. Back injuries are especially common while twisting and/or lifting and often occur because of awkward movement and control of the upper body weight alone.
  • Create ergonomic physical environments and workspaces, such as for sitting in an office chair at a computer. It does require a small investment of time to personalize the workspace, home, and car, but the payoff will be well worth it. Undue strain will be placed on the structures of the spine unless the office chair, desk, keyboard, and computer screen, etc. are correctly positioned.
  • Avoid overprotecting posture. Remember that it is important to maintain an overall relaxed posture to avoid restricting movements by clenching muscles and adopting an unnatural, stiff posture. For individuals who already have some back pain, it is a natural tendency to try to limit movements to avoid the potential pain associated with movement. However, unless there is a fracture or other serious problem, the structures in the spine are designed for movement and any limitation in motion over a long period of time creates more pain and a downward cycle of less motion and more pain, etc.

Do You Know How To Reduce Stress In Work Place

While some workplace stress is normal, excessive stress can interfere with your productivity and impact your physical and emotional health. And your ability to deal with it can mean the difference between success or failure. You can’t control everything in your work environment, but that doesn’t mean you’re powerless—even when you’re stuck in a difficult situation. Finding ways to manage workplace stress isn’t about making huge changes or rethinking career ambitions, but rather about focusing on the one thing that’s always within your control.

Here's best tips to reduce Stress

  1. Improve your time management and organization skills.
Of the many things you can to in this area the best ones include getting a to do list that works, learning to say "no", asking for help when you need it, and stop setting unrealistic goals for yourself.
  2. Relax and breathe deeply.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by the amount or work you have to do or if someone is "in your face", a good thing to do is to "breathe through your nose". You can't get as worked up if you force yourself to breathe through your nose. Your body simply can't maintain the same level of energy without that extra oxygen you get when breathing through your mouth.
  3. Take more breaks from your work.
Even a five-minute break will help. Get away from your desk. Go for a walk - outside is better, but up two flights of stairs and back down is good too. Getting more exercise in general will help you reduce your overall stress levels and that will make it easier to reduce your stress level at work.
  4. Lighten up.
Smile more. We all know laughter reduces stress. You will be amazed at how much more pleasant the people around you are when you make an effort to be pleasant yourself.
  5. Learn to listen better.
Rather than getting upset when others disagree with you, listen actively and find the areas of agreement. Be assertive and stand up for yourself, but don't be rigid.
  6. Fix your environment.
Make whatever adjustments you need to the lighting, temperature, noise level, and other controllable factors in your office.
  7. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Realize that there are some things that just aren't worth worrying about and there are some things you just can't change. Don't waste time stressing over the things in either category.
  8. Get more sleep.
This is another of the things you can do to reduce your overall stress that will have benefits at the office as well. In addition to reducing your stress, it will increase your energy level and your ability to concentrate.
  9. Find a mentor
If not a mentor, a friend will do. Having someone to talk to can take a lot of stress off you.
  10. Spend more time with optimistic people.
Negative people will pull you down to their level. Choose to work with people who have a positive attitude instead.
